Education Award Program
Since 2007, the Tumour Foundation of BC has provided financial support to students living with NF who are attending, or planning to attend, post-secondary education or training programs.
Over the years, recipients have gone on to pursue studies in nursing, engineering, computer science, education, STEM disciplines, and the arts. Each student forging their own path with resilience and determination.
We believe NF should not stand in the way of education, opportunity, or ambition. At the same time, we recognize that living with NF can bring additional medical, emotional, and financial challenges. Pursuing education takes courage and perseverance, and we are proud to offer support along the way.
Each year, a minimum of two awards valued at $500 each are granted to eligible applicants. Funds may be used toward tuition, books, or other education-related expenses for the upcoming academic year.
Application Process
To apply, simply complete the Education Award application form and submit the required materials.
Applications are accepted throughout the year, with recipients selected annually.
