What is NF?

NF is short for Neurofibromatosis – a group of genetic conditions that cause tumours to grow on nerves throughout the body. These tumours can appear anywhere and affect people in very different ways.Experiences vary widely, from hearing or vision loss and chronic pain to learning challenges, mobility issues, and visible tumours.

Anyone can be born with NF. It affects people of all races, genders, and ethnicities.
